Bleach Pen Shirt

I am a die hard Pinterest user and I had gotten the idea from a pin on there so I thought to myself "I have a ton of shirt that I could do that to." This photo shows one of the shirts that I did the bleach pen technique to and every time I wear this shirt I get a ton of compliments!

How To:  Take a plain cotton shirt and place a plastic bag between the front and the back of the shirt. I personally like to use a garbage bag for this.

Make sure to shake your bleach pen really well so that it is not too runny.

Apply a small amount to the shirt and design away!

Depending on the color of the shirt and how well it absorbs the bleach depends on how long I leave the bleach on it. For the shirt shown I left it on for about 15 minutes. You may have to leave it on for anywhere from 10-30 minutes.

Then I rinsed off all the bleach in cold water in my kitchen sink.

Throw it in your washer and wash as normal, and voila! You have a bleach pen shirt.

This is also great to do with children's shirts that have stains on them you cannot get out!
