Plunge

The theme for this years MOPS group is "Plunge" which is such a great idea! As the craft coordinator I saw yet again an idea on Pinterest and had to go with it! So therefore this is what I came up with for a quick craft for the ladies to do.

As you can see we wrote on ceramic cups. However the pin that I saw on PInterest advises you to use Sharpie permanent markers and I DO NOT advise that. I tried that technique several times and could not get the marker to stay on the ceramics so I had to go back to the computer and do some research. What I ended up finding is that the Sharpie paint markers worked the best. I placed the mugs in the oven while the oven was cold and turned my oven on to 350*. I then let them bake in the oven for 30 minutes until I turned off my oven then let them cool in the oven until I pulled them out and had fun mugs to drink out of and remind me daily of my "plunge!"
